Features:
The agricultural sector’s reliance on the employment of workers hired from outside of Canada is rapidly increasing and Britco’s employee housing complexes have been designed specifically to meet those needs. Because the complex is built off site, there is no impact on the land or the business operations during construction.
The building is divided into four quadrants with each quadrant independent of the others. Each quadrant consists of two bedrooms with a shared washroom, a common living room, fully-equipped
kitchen and an eating area. The bedrooms include two sets of bunk beds, a large closet, desk and chair. The kitchens feature custom millwork cabinets and quality appliances including two refrigerators and stacking washer/dryer.
The plumbing fixtures are low-flow for reduced water consumption to minimize the amount of waste water. Each of the four cooking areas has a high capacity exhaust fan to keep clean air moving through
the building.
