This one-storey daycare for the City of Vancouver was a full turnkey project bordering on school grounds and a city park. The building was designed to adhere to very strict city design board, school board and parks board regulations as well as health and safety guidelines for childcare facilities. The exterior design is reflective of the residential neighbourhood with a beautifully landscaped play area in a park-like setting.

The exterior is hardi-plank siding with an 8" reveal, hip style roof with 4/12 pitch and includes a covered play area connected to the main roof. The roof has R40 blown-in insulation and the exterior walls and floor also have high R values to make the building very energy efficient.
